How to add a Left widget in Mac Notification Center

The Mac Notification Center has a widget panel you can open with a single click on the clock. Here's how to add Left widgets to it so your countdowns are one swipe away while you work.

Requirements

Left widgets in Notification Center require:

Step 1 — Install Left on your Mac

Left is a universal app — if you've purchased it on iPhone or iPad with the same Apple ID, it's available on Mac at no extra cost. Open the Mac App Store, search for "Left", and click Get or the iCloud download button.

Step 2 — Open Notification Center

  1. Click the date and time in the top-right corner of your menu bar.
  2. The Notification Center panel slides in from the right.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the panel and click Edit Widgets.
