How the calculation works
The calculator subtracts the specified duration from today's date. For days and weeks, this is an exact number of calendar days. For months, the calculation uses calendar months — so "3 months ago" from March 31st gives December 31st, not 91 days ago.
Years follow the same calendar-month logic, which handles leap years correctly.
