How to use this countdown
Enter the time your fast is scheduled to end. If you're doing a 16:8 fast that started at 8 PM last night, your fast ends at 12 PM today — enter that. The countdown updates live, to the second.

Staying the course during a fast
Fasting becomes easier with concrete time awareness. Hunger comes in waves — knowing that you're 83% through your fast and have only 2 hours 40 minutes left is far more manageable than vaguely knowing "a few more hours."
- Drink water — thirst and hunger feel similar; staying hydrated reduces false hunger signals
- Stay busy — boredom is one of the biggest fasting challenges, not actual hunger
- Black coffee or tea — both are generally considered fast-compatible and suppress appetite
- Check the countdown, not the fridge — knowing the exact time remaining is more useful than willpower alone
