Best Relationship Counter Apps for iPhone in 2026: Days Together, Compared
Checked 20 October 2026. Every competitor detail below comes from that app's US App Store page and Apple's public search data, fetched that day. Left details come from the app itself.
A relationship counter shows how long you've been together: days, months, years, sometimes down to the second. Most also count down to the next anniversary and mark milestones such as day 100 or day 1,000. Some are simple counters for one phone; others are full couples apps that both partners install. Here are seven worth comparing on iPhone.
Disclosure: we make Left, so we have put it first. Here is why, and when another app suits you better.

Quick verdict
- Best for days together and the next anniversary on your Lock Screen, with no ads: Left.
- Best simple counter with a single Pro upgrade: LoveCounter - My Love.
- Best for milestones, quotes and a Face ID lock: My Love: Relationship Counter.

- Best full couples app that you both install: Couple Joy.
- Best for many anniversaries and automatic milestones: Anniversary Tracker.
- Best photo widget with a shared diary: Couple Widget: Love Countdown.

1. Left: days together and the next anniversary, at a glance
Left is a time awareness app for iPhone. It isn't a couples app; it's an app for the dates and counts that matter to you, which makes it a clean relationship counter. Two pieces do the job:
- Days together, as a streak: in Since, create a streak and set Started on... to the day you got together; any past date works, and you can add a time later by editing it. It counts up by itself, and the Streak widget can show it in hours, days, weeks, months or years.
- The next anniversary, as an Ahead date: in Ahead, add the date, set Repeat to Yearly and it rolls on to the next year by itself. Add a photo from your library or Unsplash, and a reminder 1 month, 2 weeks, 1 week, 2 days or 1 day before.
- Widgets: the Streak widget comes in small, medium and large with a photo and the start date, and as a rectangular Lock Screen widget. The Ahead widget counts down on the Home Screen and as a circular or rectangular Lock Screen widget. Both work in StandBy, and both are free.
- Reminders: a streak can remind you on the days you choose how long it has been, and a countdown can switch to Get the final countdown, a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.
- Left Premium extras: Joint Ahead dates, shared with your partner so the anniversary appears in their Left too, plus unlimited items.
Best for: one person who wants days together on the Lock Screen and the next anniversary counting down, without ads or a social feed.
Price: free to download, with no ads. The free plan includes 2 streaks and 2 countdowns (plus 2 habits and 2 Aims), which covers a days-together counter and an anniversary. The count includes every item you've ever created, so deleting one doesn't free a slot. Left Premium, a subscription or lifetime purchase, unlocks unlimited items and Joint Ahead dates. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
Pros: free Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets; no ads; counts in any unit from hours to years; anniversary Live Activities; the same app shows the rest of your countdowns and year progress.
Cons: no automatic milestone list such as day 100 or day 1,000; no shared diary or couple chat; only 2 free streaks and 2 free countdowns; needs an iPhone with iOS 26 or later.
2. LoveCounter - My Love

Its App Store page describes a counter from years down to seconds, "a live countdown to your next anniversary", milestones "like your 1,000th or 5,000th day together", your names and a photo of the two of you, and shareable cards. What about My Love by Bjoern Bartels?
My Love - Relationship Counter is by far the most-rated relationship counter we found, with 4.8 stars from 1,048,607 US ratings. It "creates new anniversaries like 'the 333rd day', 'the 50th month'", takes a photo of the two of you, and its privacy label says Data Not Collected. A Home Screen widget comes with a $0.99 My Love Pro purchase. We left it out of the list because its last update was in May 2023. If it still works well for you, there's no need to switch.
How we chose
- Search first: we searched the US App Store for relationship counter, days together, love counter and anniversary apps on 20 October 2026.
- Kept: apps that count days together or anniversaries, updated in the last 12 months, with at least a couple of thousand ratings. Left is included because we make it.
- Also considered: Love Counter - Dating Tracker (a simple counter with monthly and yearly anniversary notifications), Been Together (a long-running D-Day app, now more social, rated 4.2), Between (a private messenger for couples whose shared calendar counts down to special days), Love8 (a couples app whose counter is an anniversary countdown widget), My Love・Relationship Tracker (subscription only), Love Days and Widgetable (a popular shared-widget app, but not a days-together counter). Been Love Memory and inlove - D-Day for Couples were left out because they haven't been updated in over a year.
- Sources: each app's own App Store page, including release notes and privacy labels, and Apple's search data. No paid placements, and no developer reviewed this page.

Questions
What is the best app to count days together?
For a simple counter, LoveCounter - My Love and My Love: Relationship Counter are well rated and current. Left suits you if you want days together and the next anniversary on your Lock Screen with free widgets and no ads. If you both want a full couples app, Couple Joy is the most rated current option.
Is the My Love app still updated?
My Love - Relationship Counter by Bjoern Bartels was last updated in May 2023, according to its App Store page checked on 20 October 2026. My Love: Relationship Counter by Mst. Jahanara Sultana is a different app and was updated in September 2026.
Can I put our days together on my Lock Screen?
Yes. Left's Streak widget shows days together as a rectangular Lock Screen widget for free. LoveCounter - My Love lists Lock Screen widgets with Pro, My Love: Relationship Counter and The Couple list Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and Anniversary Tracker's release notes added Lock Screen widgets in 2025.
Which relationship counter apps count down to our anniversary?
LoveCounter - My Love shows a live countdown to your next anniversary, Couple Joy and The Couple count down to anniversaries, and Anniversary Tracker generates milestones such as 100 and 1,000 days. In Left, an Ahead date set to repeat yearly counts down to every anniversary.
Do we both need to install a relationship counter app?
Not for most. As far as their listings say, LoveCounter, My Love: Relationship Counter and Anniversary Tracker don't need a partner to join, and neither does Left. Couple Joy is built for both partners to join, and The Couple and Couple Widget have shared diaries. In Left, sharing an anniversary with your partner as a Joint Ahead date needs Left Premium.
